Very Reverend James P. Steffes, STL Rector The rector is ultimately responsible for the formation of seminarians and the seminary administration. He, with the staff, in line with the formation documents of the Church, set the direction of the seminary and seeks the realization of its goals and objectives with the full cooperation of its members. Rev. Andrew J. Beerman, STL Dean of Formation Father Beerman, along with the rector, is responsible for the curriculm and formation programming. He is also a Resident Spiritual Director of Candidates and is responsible for Apostolic Works. E-Mail: abeerman@smumn.edu

Rev. Andrew C. Fabian, OP Professor of Philosophy Father Fabian is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. He has been teaching for nearly 50 years and has been involved with the program at IHMS for 42 years. E-Mail: afabian@smumn.edu

Rev. Thomas P. Melvin Spiritual Director of Candidates In addition to his duties as spiritual director of candidates, Father Melvin also serves the Diocese of Winona as Director of Vocations. E-Mail: tmelvin@dow.org

Rev. Jon H. Moore, HC Adjunct Faculty/Spiritual Director of Candidates In addition to his duties at IHM Seminary, Father Moore is the chaplain for the Queen of Angels Hermitage in Austin, MN.

Rev. Marreddy Pothireddy Extern Confessor In addition to his duties at IHM Seminary, Father Marreddy is the pastor for St. Rose of Lima Church in Lewiston, MN.

Rev. Msgr. Donald P. Schmitz, MAChA Spiritual Director of Candidates Msgr. Schmitz is the pastor of Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Harmony, MN.

Rev. David Wechter, OCSO Spiritual Director of Candidates Father Wechter is the chaplain of the Hermits of St. Mary of Carmel in Houston, MN.

Tara Welch Liturgical Music Accompanist Ms. Welch is responsible for the coordination of liturgical music for the St. John Vianney Chapel.

Bob Werner Plant Maintenance Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of seminary plant and facilities.
